TORVIK MUSIC

Hello! I’m Phillip Torvik, a Dallas-based Audio Engineer, Producer, Musician, and Artist. My journey began at 4 years old, when I started playing drums. At the age of 6 I started piano lessons that would continue for the next 13 years. By 8, I had taught myself guitar and written my first song, and at 13, I taught myself how to record with Pro Tools. Starting at 17, a 2 year private mentorship at a studio solidified my expertise in Audio Engineering and Music Production. Today, I work full time as a professional Audio Engineer and Producer. Additionally, I host the "Track Talk with Torvik" livestream and podcast, where I consult and engage with fellow music enthusiasts. I truly anticipate the opportunity to collaborate with artists, producers, and musicians across diverse genres, leveraging my expertise to bring their musical visions to life.

WELCOME TO TRACK TALK WITH TORVIK!
This live stream is all about creating as much value as possible for artists, producers, musicians and engineers. Our goal here is to give you a safe & professional space for you to express yourself creatively without fear of your music being torn apart, laughed at or judged harshly without any real, actionable feedback/value offered. Track Talk is a live mix/production consultation with a professional Audio Engineer and Producer. This is not a “music review”. There are no ratings or polls. There is no trash or pass or votes on who likes your music. When you submit to Track Talk, you are getting a professional second set of ears on your music to break down your mix & master, your production and sound design elements, your song structure and the cohesion of your lyrics.
TRACK TALK IS A LONG-FORM, MULTIPLE LISTEN, DETAILED ANALYSIS OF YOUR MUSIC AND THE INTRICACIES OF YOUR CREATIVE & STYLISTIC DECISIONS.Most consultations take between 15-25 minutes, as we listen through your song multiple times to get the full picture of how you’re executing on your craft and to show proper love and respect to the creative decisions you are making. And this is all done live!
The Track Talk Community is an incredibly positive and supportive one and this is protected heavily to insure that your experience is positive, beneficial and largely focused around the music you’re submitting.
Thank you so much for being here and we look forward to hearing your music!
